Today we did a COMIC! We got to write about whatever we wanted. I did an evil minecraft man comic. We did it on the summer learning journey. It was fun doing this. My friend Amelia she did a cookie comic I have no idea why.

This week is the last week of school on Friday we’re having prize giving but on Thursday the whole school is going for a swim and a movie YAY! I am so excited but the sad thing is I’m gonna miss my awesome teacher Mrs Hickford. She is the best teacher I had the whole year. I’m going to miss her a lot. Next year I’m gonna be a year 6 it has been a pleasure with you Mrs Hickford .Bye.

Today are class did SCIENCES with water.Our teacher used wood a jug and a hot water bottle.She said we had to stand on the wood that was on the top and the bottom we also learnt about pressure and gravity.It was amazing that the hot water bottle did not explode it was fun doing it.

Today my class have been writing about fake news what is fake news you ask? fake news is you lie about something some people make fake news on YouTube and when you press on the video you lose your money on your computer or your iPad or something and the person who made the video gets the money it is bad. Today in class, we have been learning about fake news! We have been doing breaking news. We learnt how to tell fake news from real news. You look at at the picture and the web page and see if it is a normal web page. My fake news was about dragons in a cave(which isnt real). 
Today our class and Kereru went to the beach. My Dad drove me, Sabian and Amelia, we went to the beach to look for blue penguin tracks, there was a woman called Lucy she help us find penguin tracks.
Last week our class got a prize, our teacher put our class in a draw and we won.We got all the books it goes up to eighteen, the new book is cabin fever.The books came from penguin house,they are fun to read and funny.
I enjoy reading these books they are fun and interesting.And today is open day for parents to come and see their children work.
Today we did a discovery Friday again we have been talking about metres,grams and litres are teacher has been talking about it I know some of them metre -distance, gram-weight and litre-volume it is fun we also me and my group have been learning about Oobleck my group has been the poking the Oobleck with a spoon and it was going hard are teacher put water and corn flour the bottom was hard but the top was watery and we got to stick are fingers in it it felt nice it was fun to do it.
On Fridays we learn about the earth we do stuff Quizz and Ropu sports it is fun doing it I love Fridays and today is gumboot Friday.
On Wednesday we went to the Hokitika Gorge and our teacher Mrs Hickford was talking about the Australian Plate and the Pacific Plate. We were talking about how deep the river was and the Alpine F
ault it was so fun talking about it. We went to Tara’s grandparents farm where we got to see Alpine Fault line. We went in cars the car I was in with Maddi,Kobe and me.
Last week the year fives and sixes went to camp at Bridge Valley and it was so cool. There was a luge. There was a water slide and a pool and drift trikes. There was fake shooting and archery, laser tag and after dinner we got to have supper and we slept in a cabin. In my cabin there was me, Maddi, Amelia, Evelyn and Essie. We went to Kmart and we’ve got to buy some stuff and Maddi bought a squishy ball but it popped the next day. We got to stay there for four nights and five days but on Friday we left Bridge Valley and the people there were very nice.
